Not a bad book, offers some good insights for kids who have never flown before to what the process will be at the airport and in the air. Has some computer style in a square illustrations. Since the book isn't formatted it displays like a bit of a mess, less so in portrait mode (holding the device vertically) than landscape. Some reviewers have complained it isn't suitable for toddlers, that would definitely be true, it is aimed at older than that kids after all.Product details

This is an excellent book to be read to or by children who are going on a plane trip. It will make them familiar beforehand with the things they will see and be expected to do in an airport. I especially like the definitions of terms in the back of the book. Ms Madson has done a great job with the illustrations also.
This is the perfect read if you are planning to take the first airplane ride with your children. Ms. Madison takes them from the very beginning of the airplane ride to the very end. The illustrations are wonderful also. This book help get my guys ready for their first plane ride. I highly recommend this book.
I believe this will be a very helpful ebook for young and old alike to have some ideas of what all will happen and why. This is why I feel it needs five stars and wish to recommend this for kids ages 3-7 & + ! I received this cool ebook for free and in return, here now is my honest review. Super job D.L. Madson!

I rarely review things but I am quite disappointed in this book. The English is in this book is atrocious. There are missing commas, choices of words that show lack of any forethought. Some mistakes could be easily fixed by visiting a dictionary. I felt as I was reading a text that somebody quickly threw together and did not bother to even re-read before presenting it to the public. This only proves everybody can be a writer but not everyone can be a good writer.
This was a great story and introduction to flying for children. The illustrations are great and fit perfectly with the story. I am planning a trip to Florida soon with my two young children so I'm sure this book will be great to read to them as we are planning our trip. Well done!
Excellent prep for a small child's first airplane ride. This book walks your child through the whole process, from check in and security, to what they'll see in the terminal and what to do if they get separated from mom and dad, to the fasten-seatbelt sign and turning electronics off for take-off. The illustrations are engaging and effective. The writing is matter-of-fact but toned appropriately to be read to a child. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and feel our daughter is ready for our trip!
This book takes the reader through the steps of traveling on an airplane. School age kids will enjoy the cute illustrations and will find the language easy to understand. The book explains many of the terms the child will hear at the airport and even has an additional list of terms with their definitions at the end.
Reading this to or with your child before getting to the airport will certainly help relieve the parent of some, not all of course, but some of the many questions kids have when having a new experience. I also thought the discussion of what to do if the child becomes separated from their parents is invaluable.
