Well written, clean Historical Ranch story. Their father died and their mother & the 3 sisters are left to take care of the ranch. Unfortunately they are stolen from - by their foreman, leaving them with no money & have to let their cowboys go as well as their horses & almost all their cows.Cam read an article about a ranch needing a trust worthy foreman to get the ranch back in shape.
Things begin happening. One sister is in love with a neighbor's son. But the neighbor has been really mad at her family for many many years.

Cameron Royal & Quil are brought together under center circumstances. They realize they really need each other. Then they find out love is in the mix & it all comes together. Thumbs up!
A sweet romantic story, Cameron makes you fall in love with him almost immediately. Quill the bookkeeper in the family has a plan to save the family home. must read! Looking forward to next in series
I loved it. I like this whole series. I'm curious about the horse though. Have I met him before? Guess I need to read more of the series and find out. Not quite sure, he is as careful as title implies, but that didn't distract from story.
She didn't trust him and thought he would be more honest if they were married. I liked the way the story twisted their relationship around so they ended up making it a real marriage not a fake one.
Cameron Royal steps off a train in Biders Clump, looking for work. Aquila Adams, her mother and her sisters own a small ranch that is failing because of a dishonest foreman who stole all the proceeds from a cattle sale, not once but twice. She has pretty much lost faith in men. Cam says he'll help get their ranch back in the black. As incentive to earn a larger share of the profits, Quil asks Cam to marry her, in name only. Cam accepts, but can he keep his heart from falling completely for Quil and making the marriage real? Throw in a mysterious feud between Aquila's mother and the owner of a neighboring ranch, a romance between the son of said rancher, and a cattle drive that includes a harrowing stampede and Ms Roan has come up with a wonderful book. I only gave it 4 stars because of some typos and other grammatical errors.
The story of cowboy Cameron Royal and the Adams family of women held my interest as Cameron agreed to work and help this desperate family rebuild their livestock before losing their ranch. He agreed to a marriage in name only with oldest daughter “Quil” who kept the records but there was much tension between them. There was some suspense with a neighboring rancher with whom the Adams had a longstanding feud but whose sone was in love with one of the Adams daughters. How did everything turn out? You should read the book and enjoy the story as I did. Danni Roan is an excellent storyteller and one of my favorite authors. Highly recommend this book.
